Eastbourne’s Lightning Fibre Ice Rink
Brought to you by Your Eastbourne BID and Visit Eastbourne
1st December to 5th January - At the Enterprise Centre
For the first time in ten years, Eastbourne will be hosting an ice rink in the town centre – with skaters able to enjoy 60 minutes of skating seven days a week (except Christmas Day)
The fully covered ice rink will be situated at the Enterprise Centre, just a short distance from the train station with ample parking and close to the nearby independent shops of Little Chelsea, the boutiques of Cornfield and the eateries of Victoria Place.
Not sure about skating? Why not hire one of our penguins on the day to help guide you along the rink?
The COVID secure rink will also host various stalls selling bratwurst and delicious mulled wine as well as some essential last minute gifts in a Christmas themed space with thanks to the Welcome Back Fund.
How do I Buy Tickets?
You can pre-book on-line online to guarantee your place or buy your tickets from the box office when you arrive. Remember, you may have to wait for your turn on the ice if you haven’t booked your session in advance, especially during peak times.
What should I wear?
We recommend warm, waterproof outdoor clothing, remember you may get wet if you fall over. Long socks, gloves and hats. Wear thin layers under a jumper or coat. Hoodies must not be worn up on the ice. Please make sure scarves and loose clothes are tucked in.
How old do I have to be?
We ask that skaters are aged four and upwards. Children under the age of 8 years must be accompanied on the ice by an adult.
Do you have skates in my size?
Our smallest skates are child's size 8. Largest skate up to adult size 12.
Hire of penguins: we do recommend a height limit of 120cm. Penguins are £2 per person per session.
Adults: £12.00, Children (11 and under): £8.00, Family: £30.00 (2 Adults + 2 Children or 1 Adult + 3 Children)
